First International School Planned In Juinagar As Navi Mumbai Expands

January 17, 2026: K Raheja Corp is preparing to introduce the first international school in Juinagar, Navi Mumbai, as part of its larger 50-acre mixed-use development in the area. The integrated project includes office spaces, premium residences, technology-led infrastructure, convenience retail, and a lifestyle club, positioning education as a key component of the broader urban ecosystem being created.

The proposed international school will be located next to Raheja Jadecity, the residential development, and Mindspace, Juinagar, one of the area’s major commercial hubs. It will be developed on a 1.18-acre campus and is intended to serve families living and working within Navi Mumbai’s growing residential and employment clusters.

The initiative seeks to address a noticeable gap in the local education landscape. While Navi Mumbai has several established schools across different boards, international-curriculum institutions remain limited within the Juinagar and surrounding micro-markets. By introducing an internationally benchmarked school, the developer aims to respond to increasing demand from families seeking global learning pathways closer to home.

The school is being planned around leading international curricula, which is expected to give it a first-mover advantage in the Juinagar catchment. The location aligns with Juinagar’s evolution into a walk-to-work micro-market, supported by the combined ecosystem of Jade City and Mindspace Juinagar, as well as the wider employment corridor extending through Airoli, Ghansoli and Kopar Khairane.

Its catchment area is designed to cover the core Navi Mumbai residential belt, stretching from Kopar Khairane to Seawoods, including Vashi, Sanpada and Nerul. This area falls within an estimated 6–8 km radius and a 30–45 minute commute, allowing families to access premium education without long daily travel times.

Beyond academics, the school’s planning emphasises campus design and holistic development. The approach reflects a growing preference among parents in the international education segment for institutions that balance strong curricula with well-rounded learning environments, contributing to both educational outcomes and overall quality of life for students and families.
