Bridges department of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has floated a tender worth Rs 238 crore for the construction of a bridge to connect the Western Express Highway in Bandra (E) with Fishermen Colony on Senapati Bapat Marg in Mahim. It is another endeavour by the civic body to decongest the Western Express Highway ((WEH), which connects the entire western suburban areas in Mumbai till Mira Road.
