Acknowledging the demand put forth by former state minister and Airoli’s BJP MLA Ganesh Naik, the state government has allocated a special development fund of Rs 10 crore and ordered its speedy release for a number of developmental works across Airoli constituency covering areas from Digha to Koparkhairane

This was confirmed by Naik, who added that his emphasis will be prioritising the basic civic amenities, such as water supply, sewerage, health, education and sanitation. Since civic election is round the corner, the BJP-Sena government in the state has extended a helping hand to senior BJP leader Naik to carry out various developmental works with a hope to win the hearts of the voters in the impending civic body polls
