The state cabinet is set to grant approval for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to secure 71.04 hectares of land located in Thane’s Mogharpada. This land allocation is important for the construction of Metro 4.
This piece of land, officially known as Survey No. 30, will accommodate car sheds that will serve the Metro 4 and Metro 4A lines. These lines will connect various parts of Mumbai and MMR. They will enhance connectivity between Wadala and Kasarwadavli, Gaimukh, Shivaji Chowk to Mira Road, and Kalyan-Taloja.
