Last date for affordable homes near Mumbai extended

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA)’s Konkan Board has extended the application date for its affordable housing lottery by a month. The last date to apply for the MHADA lottery 2023 is now November 15. The MHADA had earlier set October 16 as the last date.

More than 5,300 homes in satellite towns near Mumbai such as Thane, Virar and Vasai are being offered in the lottery in the price range of about Rs 10 lakh to almost Rs 50 lakh. The results of the lottery will be announced on December 13, according to the revised schedule announced by the MHADA Of the over 5,300 homes, more than 1,000 are being sold under the Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana (PMAY), a government scheme that provides access to affordable housing for low-income and middle-income residents.
