Today, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished yet another unlawful, under-construction building in Shiv Galli as part of its ongoing campaign against unauthorized buildings in Versova Village.
This move follows the BMC’s earlier demolition drives in the same locality on June 3, June 4, and June 11; during those drives, numerous structures constructed on ecologically vulnerable marshlands and Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) areas were demolished.
