The Maharashtra chapter of Realtors’ Association NAREDCO is hosting a property exhibition in which builders are marketing more than Rs 10,000 crore in inventories in various projects throughout Maharashtra. Builders are offering discounts and freebies to attract clients throughout the holiday season.
“More than 77 new projects were launched at the third edition of HOMETHON Property Expo 2024 organised by NAREDCO Maharashtra, which began at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on Friday,” according to a statement from the association.
Over Rs 10,000 crore of inventory has been introduced in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and is on display at the expo, it added. The inventory includes a wide variety of assets, from inexpensive housing to luxury apartments and premium land parcels, catering to diverse buyer needs.
Prashant Sharma, President of NAREDCO Maharashtra, announced the inauguration of NAREDCO Maharashtra’s initiative, “Redevelopment Council.” A dedicated window has been set up in the expo to seek questions from housing societies.
The council will facilitate the entire advice and execution of redevelopment projects submitted by existing societies. Until yet, almost 4,000 housing societies have registered to request redevelopment proposals.
Niranjan Hiranandani, Chairman of Naredco, stated that the housing market is currently seeing a strong upswing, fuelled by higher employment stability, discretionary incomes, and rising ambitions.
Rajan Bandelkar, Vice Chairman of Naredco, stated that this property expo provides an excellent platform for developers to promote their premium projects and connect with prospective purchasers.
