Residents and commuters in Kharghar are becoming increasingly frustrated with the ongoing road construction at the signal and Utsav Chowk at Hiranandani. In a short period, the same length has been excavated and reconstructed several times, generating significant inconvenience and posing concerns about municipal responsibility and planning.
Jigar Dineshchandra Doshi, a concerned citizen, has formally written to Prashant Thakur, requesting that he act right away. Doshi voiced worries over what he called ineffective departmental collaboration and wasteful public spending. “The resurfaced road was dug up again shortly after repairs, disrupting traffic, endangering public safety, and affecting local businesses,” the citizen reported.
Doshi asked in his letter why such frequent repairs without adequate planning or foresight are permitted. He underlined the necessity of a long-term fix that does away with the need for repeated maintenance on the same section of road. He continued by saying that the state of affairs adds to the mounting discontent among the populace and speaks poorly of the city’s civic management.
In order to restore order and guarantee improved infrastructure management, citizens are now turning to MLA Prashant Thakur for prompt action. They think that a firm response will contribute to regaining trust in the local government’s capacity to provide sustainable urban development and efficient governance.
