In a recent conversation, Shah outlined how innovations such as AI, digital twins, and automation are fundamentally redefining the way buildings are conceived, built, and maintained.

Tools such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), drone-based site monitoring, and ERP-linked dashboards now guide everything from early planning to on-site execution. MICL is also piloting prefabricated elements like bathroom pods and façade systems to boost sustainability and consistency.
Smart home features powered by Building Automation Systems (BAS) are standard in new launches, integrating lighting, HVAC, and security for intuitive living. AI-enabled concierge services and predictive maintenance tools are also in the pipeline for luxury developments.
MICL’s sustainability ethos is equally robust. Projects incorporate fly ash cement, aerated blocks, low-VOC paints, and green technologies such as solar power and water recycling. Digital twin platforms, Shah notes, will soon play a pivotal role in lifecycle management and energy efficiency.
