The state-of-the-art facility underscores the government’s ongoing efforts to promote art, music, and theatre across Maharashtra.

Designed as a modern, high-tech performance venue, the auditorium features advanced sound and lighting systems, a spacious stage, and contemporary amenities to deliver a professional experience for performers and audiences alike.

With a seating capacity of 658, the auditorium draws inspiration from Thane’s iconic Gadkari Rangayatan, combining elegance and functionality. It provides theatre lovers in Ambernath and the surrounding areas a convenient cultural destination without needing to travel to distant cities.

Beyond theatre, the facility serves as a multi-purpose cultural hub for music concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and stage performances. It includes two conference halls, an exhibition gallery, a workshop area, green rooms, and a cafeteria, making it a versatile space for both cultural and educational activities.

Visitor-friendly amenities such as a cry room for parents with infants and ample parking facilities ensure accessibility and comfort for all audiences.

To celebrate its inauguration, a week-long festival of Marathi performances by renowned artists has been planned. The event saw the presence of eminent personalities, including Padma Shri and Maharashtra Bhushan Ashok Saraf, along with Mahesh Kothare, Makarand Anaspure, and Usha Nadkarni, highlighting its cultural significance.

Named in memory of Dharmveer Anand Dighe, the auditorium honors his legacy of empowering local artists and promoting Maharashtra’s artistic traditions, further positioning Ambernath as a vibrant hub of culture and devotion.
