Apple To Launch Second Mumbai Store In Borivali On February 26

Apple is set to expand its retail footprint in India with the opening of its second Mumbai outlet in Borivali later this month. The company has unveiled the store barricade for the upcoming location, which will be its sixth retail store in the country.

The Borivali launch marks another step in Apple’s growing physical presence in India, where demand for its products has increased steadily. The company entered India’s brick-and-mortar retail segment in 2023 with the opening of its first Mumbai store, followed by another outlet in New Delhi. In 2025, Apple accelerated its expansion by launching Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru and Apple Koregaon Park in Pune, before adding a store in Noida. These openings signalled Apple’s focus on establishing flagship-style stores in key metropolitan and technology-focused markets.

Apple has confirmed that the Borivali store will open on February 26. The barricade installed at the site features a peacock-inspired visual theme, a design concept first introduced with the Bengaluru store and later adapted for the Pune and Noida locations. The detailing reflects Apple’s global retail design standards and aims to create a distinct identity for each store while maintaining brand consistency.

The company said the Borivali outlet is expected to serve not only individual customers but also startups and businesses based in Mumbai’s western suburbs. Apple’s India stores typically provide direct sales, technical assistance through the Genius Bar, and training sessions. Through these in-store services, the company seeks to strengthen customer engagement and complement its online sales channels as it continues to deepen its presence in the Indian market.
