November 13, 2025: In a first-of-its-kind initiative for the city, Siddha Sejal Group has partnered with Skye Air, India’s largest drone delivery company, to introduce Mumbai’s first residential drone delivery infrastructure at its flagship project, Siddha Sky in Wadala.
The collaboration, aimed at creating smarter and more sustainable urban living solutions, was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Samyak Jain, Director, Siddha Group; Dhirraj Gada, Director, Sejal Group; and Ankit Kumar, Founder & CEO, Skye Air, at a ceremony held in Mumbai.
Under the partnership, Skye Air will install its first Skye-Pod delivery station at Siddha Sky, marking the start of drone-enabled logistics for residents. The first phase of operations is expected to commence in early 2026, offering doorstep drone delivery of essentials, packages, and e-commerce orders within minutes. Each drone can cover 1 km in 60 seconds with a range of up to 30 km, and deliveries will be received through a dedicated Skye-Pod zone within the complex.
Beyond convenience, the initiative is positioned as a sustainability-driven solution that aims to ease traffic congestion, reduce carbon emissions, and modernise last-mile logistics in one of India’s busiest metros.
Samyak Jain, Director, Siddha Group, said, “We believe innovation must serve people and redefine urban living beyond four walls. Our collaboration with Skye Air is a step toward creating future-ready, tech-integrated communities that combine sustainability with convenience.”
Ankit Kumar, Founder & CEO, Skye Air, added, “With Advanced Skye-Pods and AI-based route optimization via Skye UTM, we are setting a new benchmark for tech-enabled urban mobility, transforming the Siddha Sky residential complex into a smart logistics node.”
Dhirraj Gada, Director, Sejal Group, noted, “Partnering with Skye Air and Siddha Group aligns with our vision of smart, sustainable, and future-focused real estate. This initiative not only improves convenience but also supports Mumbai’s evolution into a cleaner, more efficient urban ecosystem.”
Capt. Eshaan Khullar, Vice President, Skye Air, highlighted that Mumbai faces over five lakh daily last-mile deliveries, and drone technology could offer a safer, faster, and cleaner alternative to traditional systems.
Skye Air’s Skye Ship One drone can lift to 10 kg per flight, backed by real-time analytics, IoT sensors, and coordinated drone corridors known as Skye Tunnels. Each delivery saves around 520 grams of CO₂ emissions.
Currently, Skye Air delivers over 200,000 monthly shipments across NCR, covering 27 pin codes in Gurugram and expanding to Bengaluru and other regions, in partnership with Bluedart, Flipkart, and Shiprocket, among others.
Through this partnership, Siddha Sejal Group and Skye Air aim to take a defining step toward a cleaner, smarter, and more connected Mumbai, integrating technology and sustainability into the city’s residential landscape.
