Mumbai Airport Breaks Single-Day Record With 1,036 Flight Movements

November 26, 2025: Mumbai International Airport set a new operational milestone by handling 1,036 air traffic movements (ATMs) on 21 November, surpassing its earlier record of 1,032 flights logged earlier this month. The airport, jointly operated by the Adani Group and the Airports Authority of India (AAI), reported that the surge was driven by heightened festive-season travel.

According to Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL), the airport efficiently managed 520 arrivals and 516 departures in a single day. The strong traffic performance was supported by both domestic and international sectors, with 755 domestic flights and 281 international movements recorded.

The airport’s latest achievement highlights increasing passenger demand and the growing resilience of Mumbai’s aviation sector. As one of the busiest gateways in the country, Mumbai Airport continues to expand its operational capacity while maintaining smooth airside management during peak travel periods.
