Cidco has offered two more plots for professional colleges-one each in NMMC and PCMC areas. The planning agency is offering a plot in Ghansoli node near the existing IT firms for higher education institutions. Similarly, another plot has been made available in the educational hub of Kharghar. According to the Social Service Department of Cidco, the two plots will be leased out to trusts or societies registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 or under section 8 of the Companies Act 2013 for establishing professional colleges.
