Bollywood actor Preity Zinta has sold an apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill neighbourhood in Bandra for Rs 18.5 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by real estate analytics firm CRE Matrix. The property was allotted to her after the redevelopment of the building where she previously owned a residence.
This transaction marks Zinta’s second property sale within four months. Earlier, in November 2025, she sold a 1,474 sq ft apartment located on the 11th floor of the Rustomjee Parishram building for more than Rs 14 crore.
Sources familiar with the matter had earlier indicated that Zinta could reinvest the proceeds from that sale into another high-value property in Bandra, potentially worth around Rs 100 crore.
In the latest deal, registered on March 2, 2026, Zinta sold a 1,770 sq ft apartment situated on the same floor of the building. The property was purchased by Priya Nagar and Rajeev Nagar, US citizens of Indian origin, according to the registration documents. The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.11 crore along with a registration fee of Rs 30,000.
Zinta has been associated with the property for several years. According to CRE Matrix, she received the apartment as part of a redevelopment arrangement after the original building was rebuilt. “Under a redevelopment agreement between the society and the developer (Keystone Realtors/Rustomjee), the flat was officially allotted to her as Permanent Alternate Accommodation. This arrangement was formalised in an agreement executed on October 23, 2023,” CRE Matrix said.
A message sent to Zinta seeking comment did not receive a response. The report will be updated if she responds, while the buyers could not be reached for comment.
In recent years, several Bollywood personalities have been active in the Mumbai property market. Actors Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar have also made headlines for major real estate transactions. In 2025, Akshay Kumar sold multiple properties collectively valued at over ₹100 crore, while Amitabh Bachchan reportedly concluded property deals close to the Rs 100 crore mark.
