Mumbai’s CSMT becomes first station to have augmented reality experience

The Central Railways is looking to bring in around Rs 50,00,000 in revenues in five years.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai has become the first railway station in India to be equipped with augmented reality screens. The futuristic technology will allow passengers at the station to get a real-time digitized timetable with a dedicated scrolling screen and railway information for an engaging experience.
