Inside Ranveer Brar’s Mumbai Home: A Perfect Blend Of Warmth, Comfort & Thoughtful Design

Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently offered a charming look inside chef Ranveer Brar’s Mumbai residence, showcasing a space that reflects the same warmth and finesse as his culinary creations. In her March 20 YouTube video, she, along with her cook, walked viewers through the beautifully curated home.

As she entered, she exclaimed, “Look at this house, so lovely,” immediately capturing the inviting spirit of the space. Known for his diverse career as a chef, television personality, restaurateur and actor, Brar’s home mirrors his eye for detail and creativity.

The living room stands out for its balance of comfort and contemporary style. A deep blue plush sofa forms the centrepiece, complemented by neutral walls and wooden finishes that lend a calming, grounded feel. Soft ambient lighting, particularly recessed ceiling fixtures, enhances the cosy atmosphere. A sleek wall-mounted television unit integrates seamlessly into the décor, while open shelving displays a mix of books, plants and decorative accents. At the centre, a glass coffee table adorned with elegant pieces like a metallic vase and fresh flowers adds a refined touch while amplifying the room’s sense of openness.

Moving further inside, a sunlit corner framed by large glass windows brings in abundant natural light. Sheer curtains add elegance without compromising privacy. A swing placed near the window introduces a relaxed, nostalgic element to the space.

A tall wooden shelving unit combines practicality with style, housing books, vinyl records and audio equipment. The consistent use of earthy textures, warm lighting and clean lines across the home creates an environment that feels both lived-in and thoughtfully designed—much like Brar’s approach to food.

Born on February 8, 1978, Ranveer Brar has built a nearly three-decade-long career in the culinary world and is widely recognised for hosting popular food shows and judging MasterChef India.
