Actor Madhuri Dixit has sold a commercial office property in Mumbai’s Andheri West for nearly Rs 4.85 crore, according to real estate data platform CRE Matrix.
The transaction, registered on June 23 under Frames Production Company Private Limited, marks a significant appreciation in the property’s value since its purchase nearly 18 years ago.
Dixit had acquired the office space in 2008 for Rs 52.5 lakh. Over the years, the property has witnessed a substantial rise in valuation, increasing by nearly 824% compared with the original purchase price.
The Andheri West area has remained a preferred commercial and residential destination due to its connectivity, proximity to entertainment hubs and growing business activity. The locality has attracted investments from professionals, companies and members of the film industry over the years.
The sale adds to a growing trend of celebrity-linked real estate transactions in Mumbai, where properties in established locations have recorded considerable appreciation due to limited land availability and sustained demand.
