The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has launched a new housing scheme offering 4,779 homes for applicants from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in Navi Mumbai. Online registration will begin at 11 am on August 15, 2026, through the official CIDCO housing portal.
The scheme includes 4,229 homes in Taloja Sector 39, 257 units at the Kalamboli Bus Depot and 293 homes at the Kharghar Bus Depot. A specified portion of the housing stock has also been reserved for applicants with disabilities.
CIDCO will publish the prices of individual homes along with applicable charges for each project on its portal before registration begins. Applicants will need to meet the prescribed eligibility conditions to participate in the scheme.
Those with an annual family income of up to Rs 6 lakh are eligible to apply. Applicants must also not own a pucca residential house anywhere in India. The detailed eligibility requirements, terms and conditions and other information will be available on the official portal.
The allotment process will be carried out only after verification of applicants’ eligibility and scrutiny of the documents submitted. Applicants will also have to comply with all conditions specified under the housing scheme before a home can be allotted.
The three locations covered by the scheme are among Navi Mumbai’s established and developing residential nodes. Taloja, Kalamboli and Kharghar have access to road and suburban rail networks, while metro connectivity has further improved public transport options in the region.
Their proximity to the Navi Mumbai International Airport is also expected to enhance connectivity to important destinations and employment centres, adding to the long-term appeal of these locations.
CIDCO has advised prospective applicants to check its official housing portal regularly for the latest information, including project-wise pricing, charges, eligibility requirements, registration details and updates to the scheme.
The announcement is expected to provide another affordable housing opportunity for eligible EWS households seeking homes in Navi Mumbai, particularly as housing demand continues to grow across the region.
