Amitabh Bachchan Leases Three Mumbai Floors To TruNativ For Rs 33 Lakh Monthly

Actor Amitabh Bachchan has leased three upper floors of the Signature building in Oshiwara, Andheri West, to nutrition brand TruNativ F&B Private Limited for a monthly rent of Rs 33 lakh. The five-year agreement covers approximately 8,428 sq ft of carpet area.

According to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey, the lease commenced on August 15, 2026, while the leave and licence agreement was registered on August 7. The commercial premises are located along Link Road in Andheri West.

Based on the combined carpet area, the monthly rent works out to around Rs 392 per sq ft. Over the five-year tenure, the agreement translates into an estimated rental value of Rs 21.88 crore.

The lease also provides TruNativ with exclusive access to nine designated parking spaces. As part of the agreement, the company has paid a security deposit of Rs 1.98 crore. The contract includes a 5% annual escalation in rent over the five-year period.

The transaction adds to Bachchan’s portfolio of income-generating commercial properties in Mumbai. The veteran actor has previously leased office spaces to corporate tenants.

In 2023, Bachchan reportedly leased four office units in Mumbai’s Lotus Signature building to Warner Music Pvt Ltd for a monthly rent of Rs 17.30 lakh. That agreement commenced in March 2024 and included 12 dedicated parking spaces.

Bachchan has also expanded his real estate investments beyond Mumbai, particularly in Ayodhya, which has attracted growing investor attention amid the expansion of religious tourism and supporting infrastructure.

In March 2026, he acquired a 2.67-acre land parcel in Ayodhya for Rs 35 crore from The House of Abhinandan Lodha, according to a company announcement dated March 6. The purchase marked his third investment in the city with the developer.

The latest Andheri West lease highlights the growing appeal of Mumbai’s commercial real estate market, where strategically located office and commercial spaces continue to generate substantial rental income. For high-value property owners, long-term leasing agreements are increasingly providing a steady income stream while allowing businesses to secure premium locations in established commercial corridors.
