CM Devendra Fadnavis Meets PM Modi To Discuss Key Development Projects Across Maharashtra

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday to discuss major development initiatives and projects being undertaken across the state.

Following the meeting, Fadnavis said he briefed the Prime Minister on various development projects and government schemes being implemented in Maharashtra in coordination with the Centre. He also shared photographs of the meeting on his official X account.

“As always, his meeting proves to be one that infuses new energy. I am deeply grateful to him for his invaluable guidance on development issues and for his strong support to Maharashtra!” Fadnavis wrote.

The meeting focused on development-related matters and ongoing projects requiring coordination between the Maharashtra government and the Union government. Fadnavis has been regularly holding discussions with the Centre on infrastructure and other key initiatives in the state.

The Chief Minister’s meeting with Modi comes after Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde met the Prime Minister in New Delhi earlier this month. Their discussions reportedly included the flood situation in Maharashtra and the relief and rehabilitation measures being undertaken.

Modi also recently met six Shiv Sena MPs who shifted to the Shinde-led faction from Shiv Sena (UBT). The interaction covered development issues concerning their respective constituencies.

The MPs who met the Prime Minister included Shrikant Shinde, Naresh Mhaske, Nagesh Patil Ashtikar, Omraje Nimbalkar and Sanjay Dina Patil.

During the meeting, Modi assured the MPs of the Centre’s support and emphasised the unity of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). He described the alliance as “one family” and reiterated his commitment to supporting its partners.

Fadnavis’ latest meeting with Modi highlights the continued coordination between the Maharashtra government and the Centre on development schemes and major infrastructure initiatives. The discussions are expected to support the implementation and monitoring of projects across the state.
