Sonu Nigam Acquires Three Andheri Commercial Units For Rs 17 Crore

Bollywood singer and composer Sonu Nigam has expanded his Mumbai property holdings with the purchase of three commercial units in Andheri West for a combined Rs 17 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix.

The transactions were registered on August 6, 2026, and involve two adjoining offices on the first floor and another commercial unit on the ground floor of the Aston building in Sundervan Complex, located along Lokhandwala Road.

Nigam acquired the two first-floor units from Singular Health Private Limited for ₹16 crore. Together, the offices have a carpet area of 3,885.77 sq ft, while the transaction involved stamp duty of ₹96 lakh. The deal also included four car parking spaces in the building’s basement stack parking facility.

In a separate transaction registered on the same day, Nigam purchased a 258.33 sq ft commercial unit on the ground floor for Rs 1 crore. Stamp duty on this transaction stood at Rs 6 lakh.

Combined, the three properties offer a carpet area of 4,144.10 sq ft. The total consideration of Rs 17 crore translates into an average value of approximately Rs 41,021 per sq ft of carpet area.

Neither Nigam nor Singular Health Private Limited was available for comment on the transactions.

The latest acquisition adds to Nigam’s series of property-related transactions in and around Mumbai over the past two years. In May 2026, he reportedly sold a 1.067-hectare land parcel in Karjat, part of the wider Mumbai 3.0 region, for Rs 95 lakh.

A month earlier, in April, he sold multiple parcels in Karjat measuring more than 1.9 hectares for a combined Rs 1.95 crore.

Nigam’s family has also been involved in Mumbai property transactions. In February 2026, his father, Agam Kumar Nigam, purchased a 1,197 sq m plot with a ground-plus-one-floor residential and commercial structure at Madh Island for Rs 10 crore, according to property documents accessed by Liases Foras.

In 2025, Sonu Nigam also leased a commercial property near BKC for five years at an aggregate rent exceeding Rs 12.61 crore. The 4,257 sq ft property was leased to Pattni Hospitality, which operates Downtown 29 cafe and bar.

The latest Andheri acquisition further highlights the singer’s continuing activity in Mumbai’s commercial real estate market.
