Mannat Renovation What’s Changing Inside Shah Rukh Khan’s Rs 300-Crore Home

Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat is undergoing an extensive renovation. Producer-real estate developer Anand Pandit revealed what changes are being made inside the Rs 300 crore property. SRK and his family temporarily moved out of Mannat in April 2025 before the renovation work started.

Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, is undergoing extensive renovation, with additional floors being constructed at the rear of the property. Producer and real estate developer Anand Pandit has shared details about the ongoing work at the high-profile residence, reportedly valued at around Rs 300 crore.

Khan and his family temporarily moved out of Mannat in April 2025 before the renovation began. They reportedly shifted to a luxury apartment at Puja Casa in Mumbai’s Pali Hill during the construction period.

Speaking about his real estate business on Ravi Kewalramani’s podcast, Pandit revealed that his company is involved in work connected to two properties associated with the actor. Discussing the renovation at Mannat, he said, “We’re adding a few floors to the back portion of Mannat.”

Mannat has reportedly appreciated considerably in value since Khan acquired the property for Rs 18 crore. The six-storey residence has since become one of Mumbai’s best-known celebrity addresses and a prominent landmark associated with the actor.

Anand Pandit on his Bollywood clientele

Pandit, founder of Shri Lotus Developers and Realty, also spoke about his company’s association with several prominent Bollywood personalities. Recalling one of its earlier projects, he said, “I got very good clients in that project. Hrithik Roshan bought two floors, Rakesh Roshan bought three, and Ajay Devgn also bought a floor. It became an iconic project at that time,” he said.

He further said, “Our client base is almost entirely made up of celebrities. Eighty to 90 per cent of Bollywood is with Lotus.”

Pandit also discussed another redevelopment opportunity linked to Khan at Shree Amrit Society on Carter Road. According to him, the actor had told him that the property contained the first apartment he purchased after moving to Mumbai from Delhi.

Recalling their conversation, Pandit said Khan told him, “I should call up the chairperson of the society and tell them to give the property only to Lotus.”

“He was very excited about it. My excitement increased a little because of Shah Rukh sir’s apartment. But I loved that place because the size and location of the project are so good,” Pandit added.

While renovation work continues, Mannat remains closely associated with Khan’s public image. The ongoing expansion is expected to add to the property’s scale while retaining its significance as one of Mumbai’s most recognisable celebrity homes.
