A revolutionary underground tunnel is coming up in Mumbai connecting Eastern Freeway and Marine Drive which will bring down the travel time to just 10 minutes. MMRDA has floated tenders for the Rs6500 crore project on Saturday
This 3.1km tunnel which will have 2+2 lanes will be the longest underground tunnel in India’s financial capital. It will be constructed under 30 meters below Metro 3’s Grant Road and Girgaum stations via S V P Road and will link the Eastern Freeway to Coastal Road and Marine Drive
