Mumbai Airport Express Line: As per the proposed route, the Metro line from CSMIA to Navi Mumbai Airport will be partially underground and partially elevated. It is expected to be underground between Andheri and Eastern Express Highway at Ghatkopar from where it will take the elevated route via Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road till Mankhurd
With the work on Navi Mumbai International Airport gaining momentum, the work on Airport Express Line connecting Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) to the upcoming Navi mumbai airport is set to begin soon. The 35 km-long Metro line will be developed by the two development agencies in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region- Cidco and MMRDA. Cidco will execute the work on the Metro line in the Navi Mumbai area, while the MMRDA will be undertaking the project in the Mumbai region
