The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) chief Abhijeet Bangar has assured that the city will get a complete revamp in two and a half months on par with Navi Mumbai
In a significant development, Thane’s all prominent locations are all set for a makeover with colourful paintings. Moreover, the bridges, subways, lakes, and under-passes will be illuminated with lights, with murals will be installed at the entry and exit points so people who visit the city have a good view. This beautification project will cost INR 100 crores, which will be funded by the state government’s urban development department.
