In an exclusive interview with News9 Plus, SVR Srinivas, the chairman of DRA, said that Dharavi’s redevelopment will be the first major step towards making Mumbai slum-free. “Dharavi is the largest slum in Asia and the world’s largest redevelopment project. The livelihood is there for more than a century and a half in the heart of Mumbai. So, Mumbai was aspiring to be a slum-free city and Dharavi will be the first major step towards a slum-free Mumbai. That’s how I look at it,” said Srinivas
