The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has decided to construct another flyover to break the traffic congestion in Thane and to make it easier to go directly to Navi Mumbai from Thane
This bridge is from Kopri to Patni. The MMRDA has invited tenders to prepare a detailed project report for this bridge. The report work will be started after completing this tender process. A report is expected to be submitted after six months. To go from Thane to Navi Mumbai, Thanekars have to do a lot of work. One has to cross the bridge from Kalwa Naka to Navi Mumbai
