A report shared recently by the concerned department reveals that the Railway Development Land Authority has prepared a redevelopment plan that involves modernizing the station and providing additional facilities to improve the commuting experience
The redevelopment plan for Thane Railway Station includes adding several modern facilities to the station. This includes 17 escalators, 20 lifts, and 3 moving walkways to manage the crowd efficiently. A deck of 55,000 square meters will also be built to provide additional space on the platform.
