MMRDA has completed the construction of the Chheda Nagar Junction flyover, which is set to be inaugurated soon. The flyover, which has been under construction since July 2018, is part of the larger Chheda Nagar Junction Traffic Improvement Plan aimed at reducing traffic congestion in the area
When opened, the flyover will help to ease long traffic jams at the Chheda Nagar Junction for vehicles coming from Kurla and Mankhurd. It is one of three flyovers being built as part of the project to allow for signal-free travel in the area. The first bridge connects Chheda Nagar with Santacruz Chembur Link Road and Amar Mahal Junction flyover, while the second project connects Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road and guides traffic towards Thane
