MMRDA To Procure Station Infrastructure for Metro Line 6

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is set to procure signalling equipment and platform screen doors for the Metro 6 line connecting Lokhandwala to Vikhroli. Over 65% of the corridor’s construction is complete, and MMRDA plans to finish civil construction on the 16 km route in 18 months

MMRDA has decided to procure signalling equipment as well as platform screen doors for the Metro 6 line (Lokhandwala to Vikhroli) since development has reached a critical stage after the state’s consent to establish this facility at Kanjurmarg. The corridor has over 65% of its construction completed. The 16-kilometer line would run along the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road, connecting Vikhroli to Lokhandwala after crossing railway tracks
