Mumbai’s Next Big Infra Project To Cut Down Travel Time

Several mega infrastructural projects are underway in Mumbai to improve transportation facilities in India’s financial capital. One of the next big projects coming up in the city is the Kharghar Turbhe Link Road (KTLR), which is expected to cut down travel time from Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai to Kharghar by 30 minutes

City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) will be implementing agency of the KTLR project and the link road is expected to complete within 3 years. This link road will connect the arterial Sion-Panvel highway from opposite Juinagar railway station to the International Corporate Park in Kharghar. The Rs 2195 crore Kharghar-Turbhe Link Road is expected to decongest the Sion-Panvel highway and will cut travel times by around 30 minutes
