Due to engineering work at the Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Central Railway has announced a brief suspension of trains

A brief suspension of train services was announced by the Central Railway on Friday, May 31, in response to ongoing engineering work at the Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Station and Yard. Numerous trains’ schedules and itineraries will be impacted by this development, leading to partial cancellations and modifications to the origination points.

According to the most recent announcement, Train No. 22157 Mumbai CSMT – Chennai Egmore Express, which was originally planned to leave Mumbai CST on May 31, 2024, at 22:52 hours, will now originate from Dadar. This implies that there will be a partial cancellation of service on this stretch since the train would not operate between Mumbai CSMT and Dadar.
