Recognizing the possible risks associated with unfinished cement-concrete (CC) road construction at different locations throughout the twin city, the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has begun rebuilding excavated roads using a water-bound macadam (WBM) mix, as well as gravel, asphalt, and grouting, on a war footing.
Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Katkar personally began examining the ongoing CC road building sites throughout the twin cities as soon as he returned from West Bengal, where he had been chosen as general observer for the Kolkata Dakshin parliamentary constituency between May 14 and June 4, June 4.
