An ruling by the Apex Grievance Redressal Committee (AGRC) of the Maharashtra government restoring Krish Developers as the builder for a prime municipal plot in Byculla spanning 10,525 square meters has been overturned by the Bombay High Court.
Eleven run-down municipal tenanted chawls will be included in the composite reconstruction, together with the rehabilitation of 523 slum inhabitants who have overrun approximately 1,682 square meters of the property. An order issued by the Slum Rehabilitation Authority’s (SRA) chief executive officer to revoke Krish Developers’ contract to handle the composite redevelopment was overturned by the AGRC.
