Rainwater harvesting, solar energy, sustainability measures, housing societies, government directives, green infrastructure, builders’ responsibilities, preservation of the environment, sustainable housing practices, urban development, policy changes, eco-friendly living, renewable energy, and water conservation are all mandated by the Indian government.
Builders are now required to make sure that solar panels and rainwater harvesting systems are installed in new housing societies in an effort to support sustainable development. By encouraging the use of renewable energy sources and improving water conservation, this directive seeks to lessen the environmental impact of urban dwelling. By gathering and reserving rainwater for later use, rainwater harvesting promotes water conservation and lessens reliance on conventional water delivery systems. Electricity will be produced using solar energy, a clean and renewable resource that will lessen dependency on non-renewable resources and cut greenhouse gas emissions. Housing societies should become far more self-sufficient and sustainable as a result of these actions.
