The amnesty programme run by the Estate Department of the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has been extended by the Maharashtra government till August 15, 2024. The program, which offers a 50% discount on late payment fees and additional leasing amount in addition to a time extension, is in place until June 30, 2024.
Nevertheless, the aforementioned suggestions are still pending with the department because the election model code of conduct has been in effect for the past two months and because Estate department staff members have been assigned more duties related to the elections. Residents were demanding an extension of the project because it was not possible to finish the outstanding ideas by June 30, according to sources from the CIDCO.
