The state government is set to take stringent action against developers and builders who exploit agreements on water supply and sewage treatment projects, leading to the harassment of society residents in housing projects. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has called for reforms in the Urban Development Department and Maha RERA to address these issues.
During the monsoon session of the Maharashtra Legislature in Mumbai, BJP MLA Mahesh Landge highlighted the water problems faced by society residents and the arbitrary actions of developers concerning the status of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs).
