Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, Maharashtra’s minister of revenue, said on Tuesday that the state government will release a “white paper” about the property given to Adani Realty for the Dharavi redevelopment project.
He was responding to a demand made by former chief minister and prominent Congressman Prithviraj Chavan, who called the Dharavi slum rehabilitation project in Mumbai a “huge scam” and asked the state government to provide a white paper on the subject.

It’s encouraging to see the government committing to transparency with the white paper on Dharavi’s redevelopment. Given the allegations of impropriety, it’s crucial that this document provides clear, comprehensive details to ensure public trust and accountability in such a significant project.
