The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has made the important decision to install Multi-Modal Integration (MMI) amenities at Metro Line 9 stations. In addition to relieving commuters, MMI allows for the efficient dispersal of all modes of transportation and last-mile connectivity, which improves the percentage of public and non-motorised transportation.
At the MMRDA’s executive committee (EC) meeting on Wednesday, a decision to this effect was made. Pandurang Wadi, Miragaon (Amar Palace), Kashigaon (Zankar Company), Sai Baba Nagar, Meditya Nagar (Deepak Hospital), Subhash Chandra Bose Ground, MBMC Sports Complex, and Indralok are all included in the Metro Line 9 (Dahisar East to Mira Bhayander).
