The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has approved Town Planning Schemes (TPS) 1 to 12 for the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA) project and has issued tenders worth Rs 6,414 crore for these schemes. In March 2024, CIDCO floated tenders worth Rs 3,114 crore for TPS 2-7. Recently, it issued tenders worth Rs 3,300 crore for TPS 8-12. Infrastructure work for TPS 1 has already been completed.
In March 2024, CIDCO issued tenders for road development, drainage, sewage, street lighting, VUPs, and PUPs for TPS 2-7 across 94 villages under NAINA. Bidders are required to complete these works within three years.
