MHADA Is All Set To Launch a Lottery for 2,000 Houses by This Week-end

From these 2,000 houses, there are three houses in the higher income group category, which has been priced at Rs 7.5 crore by the Mumbai board of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA). All the 2,000 houses are located at different areas like Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Mumbai Central and Juhu.

Previous year this lottery had consisted of 4,082 houses, out of those, 428 houses have been featured this year as those were returned due to disinterest or non-payment caused by high cost. Additionally, many houses did not receive any response. Out of 276 houses that were allocated for the higher income group, roughly 156 are new for this year’s lottery.

Around 300 out of the 2,000 houses are from the Pahadi Goregaon project which is currently ongoing. The remaining houses are from several redevelopment initiatives which were permitted by the Mumbai Building Repairs and Redevelopment Board (MBRRB).
