The Mumbai Housing and Area Development Board (MHADA) received 2,513 applications for the 2,030 lottery flats recently offered. These units are located in various areas, including Shivdham Complex in Malad, Kannamwar Nagar in Vikhroli, Kopri in Powai, Antop Hill in Wadala, and Pahadi in Goregaon.
The lottery’s online registration and application period ran from August 9, 2024, at 12 p.m., until August 13, 2024, at 1:38 p.m. The Board received positive responses from potential purchasers along with earnest money deposits (EMD). The form price of Rs 590, which is non-refundable, is included in the EMD that the people pay; the remaining EMD amount is refundable.
On September 4, 2024, online applications must be submitted by 3 p.m.; the amount of the online deposit must be accepted until 11:59 p.m.
By September 9 at six o’clock in the evening, the preliminary list of applications received will be made public. Online objections and claims regarding the provisional list must be made by 12 p.m. on September 9; by 6 p.m. on September 11, the final list of applications that have been accepted will be released. On September 13, 2024, at 11 a.m., a computerized lottery draw will take place at a location that will be disclosed shortly.
