Mumbai: WR to Block 50 Trains for 6th Line Work Between Goregaon and Kandivali on Sept 24-25

Another significant block will be built on the Western Railway network in anticipation of the building of the sixth line between the stations of Goregaon and Kandivali. The block is scheduled for 6.30 hours on September 24–25, 2024, from 11 PM to 5:30 AM.

The Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer, Vineet Abhishek, has announced that from 11:30 PM to 3:30 AM, all UP Fast line trains will run on the UP Slow line between Borivali and Andheri.

In addition, from 11 PM to 5:30 AM, UP and DOWN Mail/Express trains will still operate on the UP and DOWN Fast lines between Andheri and Borivali.

Approximately fifty trains are anticipated to be cancelled or short-terminated during this block, which will have an effect on suburban services. An representative from WR stated, “Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and stay informed about the changes.”
