Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, unveiled plans on Monday to establish two state-of-the-art, 1,000-bed multi-super-specialty hospitals and medical colleges in Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
These integrated healthcare hubs, named Adani Health City (AHC), will be developed through the Group’s not-for-profit healthcare initiative. The Adani family has pledged over Rs 6,000 crore to bring the first two AHC projects to life in these cities, aiming to revolutionize medical infrastructure and accessibility.
To ensure world-class standards, the Adani Group has partnered with Mayo Clinic Global Consulting (Mayo Clinic), USA, which will offer strategic guidance on clinical operations, technological integration, and healthcare quality enhancement. The collaboration is expected to set new benchmarks in digital healthcare and patient care efficiency.
Beyond Mumbai and Ahmedabad, Gautam Adani envisions expanding Adani Health Cities to several other cities and towns across India, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to strengthening the country’s healthcare ecosystem.
