Bollywood actor Tabu, whose full name is Tabassum Fatima Hashmi, has purchased a premium apartment in Mumbai’s Versova area for over Rs 10 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by Liases Foras.

The actor has bought a 2,153 sq ft residence in a project developed by Godrej Properties, named Godrej Skyshore. The transaction was officially registered on March 26, 2026. As per the documents, she paid a stamp duty of Rs 5.24 lakh along with a registration fee of Rs 30,000 at the time of purchase.

The deal also includes two dedicated car parking spaces. The apartment features a spacious layout of approximately 2,153 sq ft, along with a balcony measuring around 127 sq ft.

The Godrej Skyshore development is being constructed on a land parcel exceeding 27,000 sq ft in Versova. The project comprises two towers—Tower A and Tower B—planned with five basement levels, a ground floor, and 24 upper floors. In total, the development will house 126 residential units. An email query was sent to the developer, and the story will be updated if a response is received. Tabu could not be contacted for comment.

Versova, located in Mumbai’s western suburbs, is a sought-after residential micro-market known for its proximity to major commercial and entertainment hubs. It offers strong connectivity through metro and road networks and is well-linked to key business districts across the city.

The area continues to attract prominent names from the entertainment industry, with several Bollywood celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan, residing in nearby neighbourhoods such as Juhu, Bandra, Khar, and Lokhandwala.

In a related trend, actor Gauahar Khan had also purchased three apartments worth Rs 10.13 crore in Versova last year, reflecting sustained interest in the locality among celebrities.

Meanwhile, Mumbai’s real estate market recorded 15,516 property registrations in March 2026, slightly higher than 15,501 in the same month last year. However, stamp duty collections declined 6% year-on-year to Rs 1,492 crore, indicating a shift in transaction patterns, according to Maharashtra IGR data cited by Knight Frank.
