Shreyas Iyer’s Mumbai Property Journey: Four Notable Real Estate Transactions In Worli

Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer continues to strengthen his presence in Mumbai’s premium real estate market, with his latest move involving the lease of a luxury apartment in Worli at a total rental outlay exceeding Rs 7 crore. The transaction adds to a series of high-value property deals undertaken by Iyer over the past few years, reflecting a consistent preference for one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential and commercial destinations.

1. Luxury Worli Apartment Leased for Rs 7.14 Crore

In his latest transaction, Iyer has leased a 3,875 sq ft apartment in Artesia, a high-end residential tower in Worli, for three years. Property registration documents indicate that the lease, registered on June 10, 2026, carries a total rental commitment of Rs 7.14 crore. The apartment includes four dedicated parking spaces. The agreement attracted a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.84 lakh and registration charges of Rs 1,000.

2. Residential Apartment Purchase for Rs 2.90 Crore

In September 2024, Iyer and his mother, Rohini Iyer, acquired a residential apartment in Worli for Rs 2.90 crore. Located in Triveni Industrial CHSL in Adarsh Nagar, the 525 sq ft unit was purchased at a rate of Rs 55,238 per sq ft, according to property registration records.

3. Commercial Property Acquisition in Worli

A few months earlier, in July 2024, Iyer purchased a commercial unit in Godavari Industrial CHSL, also situated in Adarsh Nagar, Worli. The 510 sq ft property was acquired for Rs 2.9 crore, translating to a rate of Rs 56,863 per sq ft.

4. Premium Home at World Towers

Iyer’s association with Worli’s luxury housing market dates back to September 2020, when he purchased a 2,380 sq ft apartment in The World Towers for approximately Rs 12 crore. Developed by Lodha Developers, the residence came with three parking spaces and was acquired at a rate of Rs 49,817 per sq ft.

Together, these transactions highlight Iyer’s growing footprint in Mumbai’s high-value real estate market, particularly within the upscale Worli micro-market.
