Bollywood couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan live with their sons, Taimur and Jeh, in their expansive Bandra residence, ‘Satguru Sharan’, a four-storey home that combines contemporary luxury with classic design elements.
The family shifted to the property in 2021, after spending more than a decade at their earlier Bandra residence, Fortune Heights. The move provided additional space and greater privacy as the family grew.
According to reports, Saif acquired the property in 2012, and its estimated value has since risen to around Rs 100 crore. The residence attracted public attention in early 2025 following a break-in during which Saif sustained injuries, bringing renewed scrutiny to the otherwise private family home.
A Blend of Classic and Contemporary Design
Interior designer Darshini Shah worked on the home’s interiors, creating a palette of soft pastels, rich wood textures and carefully selected decorative elements.
The living room features cream-toned seating complemented by a Turkish rug, while sections of the home use black-and-white chequered flooring inspired by Victorian interiors.
Library and Walk-In Wardrobe
Saif’s passion for books is reflected in a custom-built private library, complete with antique-style shelving and ambient lighting.
Kareena’s walk-in wardrobe is another highlight, featuring mirrored surfaces, designer lighting and organised storage for her fashion and accessory collections. She has occasionally offered glimpses of the space through social media.
The children’s rooms feature a more playful look, incorporating pastel colours and jungle-inspired themes.
Private Pool, Gym and Music Room
Spread across four floors, the residence includes five bedrooms, a gym, a music room and multiple open terraces.
One of its standout features is a private terrace swimming pool, designed as a space for the family to unwind and spend time together.
The home’s design balances spaciousness with understated detailing, using natural textures and heritage-inspired elements instead of relying solely on extravagant décor.
With its multiple bedrooms, private recreational spaces and personalised interiors, Satguru Sharan reflects the family’s preference for a larger, more private residence while bringing together traditional design references and modern comforts.
The Bandra home has consequently become an example of how celebrity residences can combine privacy, functionality and luxury within Mumbai’s premium residential landscape.
