BJP Mumbai organised a ‘Mumbai Development Tour’ on October 4 under the themes of ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ and ‘Developed India @2047’, offering social media influencers, content creators and digital media representatives an opportunity to visit key infrastructure projects across the city.
The initiative was conducted under the leadership of BJP Mumbai President Amit Satam, with the objective of taking information about Mumbai’s ongoing development works directly to citizens through digital and social media platforms. The tour began at 10 am from Shri Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi.
Participants were scheduled to visit and receive briefings on several major infrastructure initiatives shaping Mumbai’s connectivity and urban landscape. These included the Mumbai Metro network, Coastal Road, Atal Setu and the Mumbai International Airport area, along with other significant development projects.
According to the organisers, the programme is intended to provide participants with an opportunity to observe infrastructure projects on the ground and understand their potential impact on the city and its residents. The initiative also seeks to strengthen public engagement by using social media and digital platforms to communicate information about Mumbai’s development.
The BJP said the tour would highlight development works undertaken under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Through digital content generated by participating creators and media representatives, the organisers aim to take the city’s infrastructure story to a wider audience.
The tour was scheduled to conclude at the Worli Promenade, where a special talk show and interaction with BJP Mumbai President and MLA Amit Satam was planned.
During the interaction, discussions were expected to focus on Mumbai’s ongoing infrastructure projects, their benefits for citizens and the future direction of urban development in the city.
The programme forms part of BJP Mumbai’s broader outreach efforts under ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, combining field visits with digital communication to showcase Mumbai’s changing infrastructure, connectivity and development landscape.
