October 24, 2025: The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) has partnered with app-based bus service provider Cityflo to launch dedicated feeder bus services for Metro Line 3 commuters, aimed at enhancing first and last-mile connectivity across Mumbai.
The new service currently operates from Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Worli, connecting commuters to key commercial and residential hubs. The BKC route covers major destinations such as NSE, Jio Garden, One BKC, and the Family Court, while the Worli route links areas like Century Mills, One Indiabulls Centre, Kamala Mills, and Peninsula Corporate Park. MMRC also plans to extend this initiative to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), with stops at Old Custom House, Lions Gate, S.P. Mukherjee Chowk, K.C. College, and Churchgate Metro station.
Buses operate every 10 minutes during peak hours to ensure smooth and timely commutes. The fare is priced at ₹29 per ride, with a monthly pass available for ₹499, offering a cost-effective travel option for regular commuters. Tickets can be purchased through the Cityflo and MetroConnect3 apps for a seamless digital experience.
R Ramana, Director (Planning & Real Estate Development) at MMRC, emphasized the importance of reliable first and last-mile solutions, stating that the collaboration aims to offer “convenience right up to commuters’ doorsteps.” Cityflo CEO Jerin Venad added that the partnership represents “a step toward creating an integrated, sustainable, and tech-enabled urban mobility system in Mumbai.”
The MMRC–Cityflo collaboration marks a significant step toward strengthening Mumbai’s public transport ecosystem. By linking metro stations to major employment and residential zones, the initiative is expected to reduce travel stress, save time, and promote a shift toward public transportation.
